Trail to the vista point. |
Next we learned that plugging "Point Reyes" into the GPS was not the best idea for figuring out how to get to the entrance of the park. The GPS directed us along 14 miles of narrow, winding roads that traversed a cliff overlooking the bay. At the end of the journey, we realized that we had arrived at the Point Reyes bird observatory entrance (much to Amy's dismay), far from the actual entrance to the park. Luckily we found a quiet trail nearby that we could hike.
While we were hiking, we could see what looked like whales moving through the water |
This clever goat escaped from his pen. He was eating merrily on the side of the road. |
