Put 'em in a tree museum

We decided to split our time around San Francisco into two days, a city day and an outdoorsy day. For our outdoor adventures, we went to Marin County, home of the Muir Redwood forest and Point Reyes National Park. Both were awesome!

This is our hotel in Marin County- we loved it! It was the best hotel we stayed in the whole trip.

Revving up before our outdoor adventures with a Latte.

On the way we noticed that the tires were in desperate need of some air after all of the driving. Dan worked his magic and figured out the air machine. Then we were on our way!

After we left the Larkspur, got some coffee and figured out the tires, we descended down a long, narrow and winding road to the Redwood Forest.
Muir Woods, named in honor of John Muir. Muir was famous for describing natural formations with words such as "HARK!"

I'm in a Redwood.

We really wanted a picture of this yellow bird. It kept flying away. 30 pictures later....

hi bears.

Thanks for the redwoods John Muir!

This tree couldn't decide which direction to grow.
